Passion Profile is a semi-regular feature of the Medallia Blog that highlights uniquely passionate people. Although the subject matter may be irrelevant (though often interesting in its own right), we believe that consistent exposure to passionate individuals is valuable.

Randy Pausch was a computer science and HCI professor at Carnegie Mellon. Though known for his battle with pancreatic cancer, he is better remembered as a person of deep passion. Upon learning that he had only three to six months to live, Pausch set out to “enable the dreams of others.” On September 2007, he gave a fantastic speech titled “The Last Lecture,” which attracted huge media attention and nearly 13 million views.
He’s today’s Passion Profile.
